28 weeks!

84 days until baby girl's due date! AHH! That is so so crazy.
I can't believe we passed the hundred day mark and I didn't even notice. Seeing that number makes things feel so much more real. This week I went through Greyson's baby clothes to see if there was anything we could reuse for bay girl. Lucky there were a few things not a lot though. There were a few white, yellow or light green onsies that will do but I hadn't realized just how much blue he owns haha. Although one piece I pulled out is not unisex, I'm gonna make it work. Grey got these dinosaur feety pajamas from Gymboree for his shower and I am literally OBSESSED. If I could have them in every size until Greyson is about 5, I would. They are the cutest little jammies so I've decided baby girl will rock a matching headband with them. Daniel thinks I'm nuts but I'm not bothered!
In other news we are all super excited for the holiday weekend. I spent most of this week cleaning, organizing and repainting the house so I feel great about leaving it for a few days. Coming home to a clean house is such a good feeling. We have a long car ride ahead of us in the morning so I know that on the way back we will all be exhausted. With that said, nesting is in full affect! I have been all over pinterest with projects I want to do before baby comes. I've found the best ever organization/seating area for the kids room, or play room depending on the space we have when we move. Along with the projects, going through Grey's baby stuff and the painting I am also working on that art piece I mentioned I wanted to do for baby girl. It is nowhere near done but I'm confident its going to be great!
I wanted to share my fourth of July weekend attire with you and also the tasty treats I've been drooling over.
Baby girl is really making my belly stick out these days. Lookin' good, I know I know.

Now for the foooooood!

S'mores Cups
7  whole graham crackers (1 cup finely crushed)
1/4 cup powdered sugar
6 tablespoons butter, melted
4 bars (1.55 oz each) milk chocolate candy, divided
12 large marshmallows

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Place graham crackers into a large resealable plastic bag and finely crush into crumbs.
Combine graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and butter in a small bowl.
Place 1 tablespoon of crumb mixture in each cup of a mini muffin pan. Firmly press crumbs to form shallow cups. Bake 4-5 minutes or until edges are bubbling.
Meanwhile, break two of the candy bars into rectangles.
Remove pan from oven; place one rectangle into each cup.
Cut marshmallows in half crosswise. Place one marshmallow half, cut-side down, into each cup.
Return to oven 1-2 minutes or until marshmallows are slightly softened. Remove pans from oven to cooling rack; cool 15 minutes.
Carefully remove cups from pan. Cool completely.
Break remaining candy bars and place in small microwavable bowl. Microwave on high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until melted and smooth, stirring every 20 seconds. Dip the top of each marshmallow in melted chocolate. Turn top-side up and let stand 40 to 60 minutes or until set. Makes 24 cups.

Layered Drinks
Ocean Spray Cranberry Juice
SoBe Pina Colada
Gatorade blue g2

(Whether you're preparing a pitcher or glass instructions are the same.)
Fill your container to the top with ice.
Pour cranberry juice about 1/3 of the way. This has a sugar content of  36g making it the most out of all our juices. The heaviest should always go on the bottom.
Next pour the SoBe Pina Colada drink 1/3. (25g sugar) Pour very slowly. Pouring too fast will cause the juices to mix and you don't want that.
Lastly, fill the rest of the glass with your blue g2. (14g) Again, pouring very slowly.
Top with festive straw or treat of your choosing.

(PS both S'mores cup and Layered drink photo are from pinterest, they're not mine!)

How far along: 28 weeks
Gender: Girl
Weight gain: 27 lbs
Sleep: Still good
Stretch marks: No
Missing: Participating in the drunkenness that comes with holiday celebrations. It sounds so silly but I truly appreciate a good beer and good company. Although I'll still have good company, my beer will be substituted with a mock-tail.
Cravings: CHERRIES, donuts and apples! And now cookies again. Daniel bought me a whole case and I went crazy. Now I need more.
