Monthly Favorites

Ok so I decided I'd start this now. We all know the first few months a baby's "favorites" are mommy and sleeping.,right? London is a little lady now! She just started rolling over and army crawling! We have been rather impressed with her. When she's not working on her moves, she relaxes in this Chicco i-feel Rocker. We actually got it for Greyson when he was a little babe and it has made it to the next kid! It folds and stores easily. We love the mp3f feature. There's a side pocket to put your iPod in so you can play any music your baby likes. We use it both for her to relax and for feeding her a bottle. The bumbo seat is also a hit, plus it saves Daniel and I all the time. She's been sitting in it rather early but she loves to watch Grey play and us cook. The Medela Calma nipple is what we've been giving to her to transition from the breast. I'll still nurse until she is at least one but she takes this sometimes which will allow mommy & daddy date nights to be an out of the house event! She is finally big enough to cloth diaper now too! We swear by the BumGenius 4.0 diapers. We also use the BumGenius flip diapers. If you don't cloth diaper, look into the money you save and how easy it is. You'll be surprised. We used cloth diapers with Greyson too and I can't say enough good things about them. BumGenius has tons of colors and adorable prints too! Whenever London is too tired I throw her in the Modern Wrap and she is out cold. We use it in the snow to keep her close and warm too. This is a must have for me as well as her. I did lots of research before buying a wrap. The Modern Wrap is the smallest, thinnest, most lightweight wrap on the market. Plus Jade, the owner is so sweet and helpful! The Shea Moisture Oil Rub smells amazing and feels even better. I put it on London after a bath and without fail she goes right to sleep every time and it leaves her skin feeling so smooth. Of course Sophie is in here! London loves on Sophie 24/7. We cannot go anywhere with it! And lastly the Green Toys teether doubles as a teether and noisy distraction, that she also tries to throw at her big brother. Links are all below!

  2. I love anything by Shea Moisture - in fact, I use a lot of baby stuff for me because it usually doesn't bother my sensitive skin. :)

    1. I have sensitive skin too. I love that their products smell so good but aren't overly fragranced after putting them on.

  3. I loved cloth diapering my daughter for the most part and I am pretty excited to do the same again now that my 2nd is over a month. I never used bumgenius with my first though I heard good things. I am going to try gdiapers with my 2nd now. Have you heard anything about those?

    1. I thought about trying gdiapers too. I've heard mostly good things about them, that they are constructed well. Only downside I've heard is they can leak if you don't get the insert in just right but I'm sure you will figure out how to do so quickly! I really like the feel of them. Congrats on your newest addition!

  4. I love the Shea Moisture line! Their products smell so good. For some reason my son was a weirdo and didn't like swings until recently (at 20 months) and he didn't like Sophie either. He much preferred chewing on water bottles. Of course we bought all that stuff anyway, and we have it saved for baby #2 - hopefully he/she will like it!

    1. My son didn't care for anything for teething, still doesn't at almost two and getting molars! He definitely had a fascination with water bottles too though, haha.

  6. No kiddos here yet and I have to say I am amazed by all the things that they have for little ones! A side pocket for your iPod in the baby rocker? So fancy!
