Monthly Favorites

Month seven went by oh so quickly. She was sick and fussy for most of it but the aftermath has been amazing. She started crawling, got her first tooth and says "dad"! Now that she is mobile though our Joovy Room2 Playard is her favorite place to be. She is free to roam in there, can grab the sides to pull herself up and play with all her toys without Greyson running her over, haha. Her favorite 'toy' to have with her lately is a plush doll she got from Grammy for thanksgiving actually. I can't find the actual item online to link for you but it is just like this Candy Kirby one, except London's has a tiara instead of a bow. How cute right?! It goes everywhere with us now. Grey's old xylophone has been a hit too! She loves that she can make music on her own! As you probably know, London still isn't eating any 'real' or 'solid' foods yet so we have two favorites alternatives to let her feed herself. First are these reusable pouches by Squooshi. She can hold it, squeeze and suck as much as she wants at a time. Then for some more rather solid pieces like bananas, avocado, etc we put a couple slices into one of the Nuby Nibblers and she goes to town! Daniel and I also love these too because there is hardly any mess when using them. If she drops or throws it the food stays inside the mesh so there's not much to clean and we can just pick it up and give it back to her. We are 100% ready for summer over here so we've been preparing for our first family beach day. We got London these two precious bathing suits and a swim diaper! For now she has been rocking them in the backyard but they are absolutely adorable and London definitely shows off when she's in that suit with the tutu! Check out the links below for prices and details!

    1. They're awesome! We were going through so many of the Earth's Best smoothie pouches and they're about a dollar each so I was on a mission to find reusable ones.

    1. Surprisingly yes! You can use a bottle cleaning brush for them which makes it easier but also just shaking up some hot soapy water does the job!

  4. That little ducky swimsuit is too darling! I saw a zebra one somewhere (Gap or Old Navy maybe?) that I really want to get Miss M. Love the concept of those pouches esp since you can refill them. Marli was such a soup baby so I would put everything in it - proteins, veggies, carbs, etc. and she loved it. I did give her really soft small finger foods so she could learn to eat and hold utensils herself and I'd "guide" her...it was usually peas and carrots or rice or some snacks that kinda dissolved in her mouth. They grow up so fast, right? :)
